Auditions for ‘The Crucible’ by Arthur Miller

Indulgence Theatre Company is pleased to announce its forthcoming production of “The Crucible” by Arthur Miller, scheduled for performances at the Drill Hall in November this year.

I will be holding auditions for this production in the upstairs room at the Golden Eagle pub on 23rd and 25th February and 2nd and 4th March.

Please e–mail our website if you are interested in performing or assisting with the production in any of the ‘behind the scenes’ disciplines (e.g. stage manager, producer, assistant director, set builder, etc). Please leave your e–mail address and telephone number and indicate how you would like to be involved. Please let me know before 13th February.

If performing please indicate which part´s you feel you might be suitable for. (Please read the play – the penguin classics edition – ISBN 0–14–118255–5). Please also indicate if you will be unable to attend any of the audition dates above.

I will respond to your e-mail with a date and time for audition. I will also let you know which scene to prepare for your reading.

Rebecca Nurse

All other parts will be cast from the auditions.

Please bear in mind that the get–in/tech run at the Drill Hall will be on Tuesday, 17th November. There will be a public preview/dress rehearsal on Wednesday 18th November and full public performances on 19th, 20th and 21st November. If you wish to be involved, the expectation is that you will be available for these dates as well as for rehearsals commencing at the beginning of September (2 rising to 3 x weekly). There may also be some preparatory workshops in June.
